Whistler/Squamish Area Rivers: Local rivers are low, cold, and clear making fishing quite slow. The fry emergence has begun with both pink and chum fry migrations happening daily. The peak migration should occur later in March with warmer water and longer days. There are some reports of steelhead in both the Squamish and Cheakamus rivers.
