Black Mountain Golf Club, located about 10 kms from Hua Hin, in a valley, just next to the "Black Mountain’s", which are so named because of the large black rocks set into the mountains, providing a nice backdrop to many of the holes. The golf course has been carved out of undulating land and features many creeks, rock features and large bunkers.
Black Mountain golf club is framed by mountains on three sides and the views are stunning. A notable feature of the course is the use of seashore paspalum grass on the fairways, the first course in this area to use this type of grass.
Black Mountain golf club looks as natural as possible and maintains many of the original features of the site. The most important of these are the natural creeks that run throughout the course and the rocks that have been used as design features on many of the holes. Many of the original trees have been kept and many new trees have been planted to frame the holes. Black Mountain is European owned and managed which assures smooth operations and year round excellent standards.
