2. Buy a used club set/second hand club set if you want to play golf more than 5 days and turn it back to golf-pro shop. A second hand club set is a premium and better than your suggestion. (Thai golfers usually buy their new club set and brand name club set as it promotes).
3. Club set rental: there are many golf course have club set rental in club house and there are golf pro shops in that area. (more and more cheaper than in a club house)
4. Government enterprise/Royal Thai Army, RTA/Royal Thai air forces, RTF, Navy, NV and EGAT golf clubs are more cheaper
than the other and may be crowed on weekend.
5. Play golf in Thailand is very easy (walk in or 1-2 persons) and low price, especially in non-tourist destinations and non-golf season. Most of RTA Golf Courses are in the city and good transportation such as Lopburi, Pitsanuloke and Nakhon Sawan (18/72 Standard Golf Course)
